Ashridge House Micro Wedding
I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and Daniels micro-wedding at Ashridge House in October. With all the pressures of 2020 for many couples, they had decided to go ahead with a small ceremony then have a larger celebration in 2021. This was such a good decision!
Ashridge House was once a royal residence to King Henry VIII and home to his daughter Princess Elizabeth I. Being one of the best wedding venues in Hertfordshire it’s the dream wedding venue for your special day.
I’ve been lucky enough as a wedding photographer in Hertfordshire to shoot at Ashridge House many times and is a spectacular, award-winning wedding venue in the middle of Hertfordshire, only 30 miles from London and surrounded by 190 acres of beautiful gardens.
With beautiful, turreted façades, stunning and historic gardens and a choice of elegant heritage reception rooms, the house is a unique backdrop to what would be your wedding day.
What I like about this wedding venue is the options it provides for photography. Not only does it look incredible outside, with imposing buildings but when you step inside it truly is incredible. I’ve been a wedding photographer for nearly 16 years and I can safely say there is not another wedding venue like it in the UK, it definitely is one of the most unique wedding venues in the country.
Lauren and Daniel did so well with organising their special day and with the guidance from Ella at Ashridge House you can see from the images below, we all had a fantastic time, even with face-masks firmly one.
Looking forward to coming back next year to photograph their wedding #2!
