Hotel Miramar Barcelona Wedding
I met Laura and Robert for the first time in Italy when I was shooting a destination wedding in Castello di Modenella, they were guests enjoying a close friends wedding in the heart of Tuscany.
After seeing the beautiful hosting of a destination wedding in a foreign country it quickly becomes apparent that a destination wedding can be very romantic and competitively priced to a wedding in the UK. The one benefit is that you are pretty much guaranteed beautiful light for photography and probably an array or sunshine to bask in.
Beautiful Barcelona | Hotel Miramar Barcelona
They chose a Roman City, one of the largest of Catalonia, the beautiful Olympic City of Barcelona. With views overlooking the famous Las Ramblas Hotel Miramar sits artistically on the top of a mountain over looking the port of Barcelona.
Gastronomy, Art, views, amazing excursions by sea and many historical secrets… you can do a lot in Barcelona in 48 hours, and you can also host a wedding!

To enable me to integrate into a wedding party I try and ensure I am there at least 1 day before the wedding. This allows me to build trust and makes guests more relaxed around me, after all this is normally pretty alien to most couples. A guy with a couple of cameras walking around capturing moments and building a story of the day. I like it, they like it and it allows me to start the story the day before, the build up and excitement leading up the wedding day.
It was a beautiful wedding, fun on their own private terrace and with so many laughs and smiles. Here is just a snippet of Laura and Robs wedding story at Hotel Miramar in Barcelona.
