What is your pricing?

I understand wanting to find pricing information without having to ask. From my experience weddings have many variables and additional services can be added. Please use the contact form to start the conversation going to ensure you are well looked after.

How do we book you?

I require a £500 deposit and a completed on line booking form. To make it fair to others I operate a first come first serve basis.

Do you work with any other photographers on the day?

I am the only photographer who will be shooting your wedding, UNLESS you select the option to add a second photographer which offers further coverage and more images. I do sometimes bring an assistant who helps with gear and lighting but I am the only one actually taking the pictures on your day.

Do you edit all of our photographs?

Every image that you receive has been hand-‐edited, one at a time, without batching in bulk groups or mass-‐producing the results. ‘Edit’ is a broad term but each image has been checked for composition, exposure, white balance, colour, contrast and basic sharpening. Additional retouching request are taken with a cost attached but I am sure you will be happy with what I will provide!

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely, public liability insurance up to £5m along with all of my equipment, this is my livelihood I would be very silly not to.

Do I need wedding insurance?

Sounds strange doesn’t it but some over look insurance. It would cover items like cancellation, rearrangement, failure of suppliers, wedding gifts, cars and transport, photographs and video.

How long do you stay at the wedding for?

Every wedding is different, I work until I have built your story, from experience it is never any less than 10 hours coverage.

Can we meet you before we make a decision?

Absolutely, some couples like to meet before hand which provides you the opportunity to meet me and my personality. Others search the interweb and decide from recent feedback, it is totally up to you. If you are further away or even around the corner, I know you are busy so I regularly use Face Time or Skype to chat with you!

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes I do, albums are an optional extra. Please ask for a full price list and options.

Do you have a social media presence?”

Do you provide a contract?

Yes, crucial for both you and I. It provides a safeguard of my services offered to you, it sounds all very formal but I want you to feel secure whilst hiring me as a professional photographer.

Where do you live and how far will you travel?

I live in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. I’ve photographed weddings around the corner and across Europe. Local travel is covered in your initial quote, if you are further afield or organizing a destination wedding then travel, accommodation, flights etc are just added to your final invoice. I am an experienced frequent flyer so organizing my journey is just fine and something you don’t have to worry about.

How long does it take before we receive our products and photographs?

Online galleries are posted between 10-12 weeks of the wedding date. If any longer I shall let you know as during peak season may cause a delay but trust me I would be working on them behind the scenes.

Can we view all of the images that didn’t make the ‘final cut’?

The images delivered to you are very loosely edited, taking out only eyes-closed, flash-didn’t-fire, person-walked-in-front-of-the-lens true outtakes. If there are a handful of images of you together with your mum laughing, for example, I’m going to include everything that isn’t an absolute duplicate and so forth. Please know that when ‘editing’ I’m not striving to hit some number of images to deliver and throwing out good pictures. The images not selected aren’t archived and therefore aren’t available.

We like your style but wanted to ask if you could create something for us that is not necessarily what we have seen in your portfolio?”

I am happy to discuss your full requirements and work with you to create something special, if I feel we are not a good fit then I shall let you know.

Do we receive the RAW, unedited files?”

The RAW, unedited files aren’t available for viewing or purchase. The images selected for editing and final delivery reflect my very high standards and everything else isn’t archived in the studio. This is like asking a restaurant to provide you top ingredients and you will cook the meal yourself and serve it.

How many pictures will we receive?”

The number of photographs taken depends on many things; the number of guests, hours of coverage etc. I normally provide between 400-450, but those numbers can vary depending on the day itself and what package you choose.

What if I die?

Unfortunately, I must admit I won’t be able to attend your wedding I’m sorry, although as part of your contract you will be provided with a vetted quality professional to cover the day for you.

What equipment do you use?

I am sure you don’t really care but I am a Nikon professional, I bring two full framed sensor cameras to your wedding along with many top grade lenses coupled with everything else I need to capture your day.

I have seen some beautiful images on your website, are these all from real weddings?

Every image on this site is from a real wedding, I understand that some photographers add images from styled shoots where there is lots of time to prepare the decor, models and surroundings. I feel this isn’t a fair representation of what you receive on your wedding day.

I really like a certain shot on your site, could you recreate for me?

I will try my best to accommodate any requests although there are many variables to remember. How you have styled your wedding will go a long way to how you should visualise your final images. The more time you spend on finding the right reception location, the details of the day and the available lighting within the building will determine this.

Do you accept credit card as payment method?

Absolutely, a 1.8% charge would apply if using this method. Payment can be made online.
