When a photographer books a photographer.
I recently had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful family of Nina Mace, award winning lifestyle photographer shooting out of Hemel Hempstead and St Albans.
Nina found me via my Facebook page and had seen some of my previous work, then booked a session.
I’m always excited to shoot for a fellow professional and this occasion was no exception. There is nothing more satisfying than chatting to someone who is just as geeky about photography as me 🙂
Hearing what Nina has been up to in her career as well as meeting her family was great and very interesting to see how different we operate but with similar success.
My go to place for portrait sessions, including engagement shoots is Stock Grove Park in Leighton Buzzard. I’ve been lucky enough to visit lots of lovely places around the UK and I can honestly say the one right on my doorstep is one of my favourites.
If you haven’t visited, please do and if you see me stop and say hi, I nearly always have my camera and my dog by my side.
The session lasts around 90 mins which provides enough time to have a nice relaxed walk around the park and woodland, stopping every now and again to capture the moment whilst keeping the kids happy and engaged. Sessions are fun, energized and relaxed all at the same time . If they weren’t then it’s a little more work for me to make you happy!
Most are terrified of me taking their photograph but by the time it’s finished, most comment “I really enjoyed that, that wasn’t so bad after all, can we carry on!”
Nina has a great reputation for delivering photography training and I recommend getting in touch with her if you would like to improve on your photography skills and really put that camera of yours into action this Spring and Summer!
I have various dates throughout the summer so please do get in touch if you are interested in booking a shoot.
Keep smiling 🙂
